Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

With less than 14 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance
With less than 7 days to arrival date 75% of the total remaining balance
With Less than 24 hours or no prior notice / No show: 100% of the total balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

The room The (non smoking) guest-room is quiet and separated from our own apartment to ensure your privacy and peace of mind. A double bed and a private bathroom (toilet, bath and shower) are at your disposal. The room has a balcony which is perfect for smoking on.

Our guest house is located within walking distance of the following venues and areas of the city Melkweg, Paradiso, Leidsdeplein, Jordaan, Kerkstraat, Leidseplein, Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht, Singel, Reguliers Breestraat, Rembrandtplein. A great central location for your stay in Amsterdam. Great location between Leidseplein and Kerkstraat. Just a few minutes walk to many of Amsterdam's top attractions... such as; Reguliersdwarsstraat (on of Amsterdam's Gay street), 9-streets, Rijks-, Van Gogh-museum and so on..... Close to many of the top night clubs including The Paradiso, De Melkweg, Jimmy Woo's, and the Sugar Factory All around there is places selling all types of food with an endless choice of restaurants and bars and loads of top shops for clothes and shoes. You can also walk it to most of the museums or just hop on a tram just outside the door.
